Design Project:
The Dubliner
The Dubliner is a pub in Washington, DC, founded in 1979. The original logo was based on a wood carving which resides in the restaurant. The logo illustration was refreshed and modernized into a much clearer, monoline illustration style.
The pub also hosts a much beloved, annual St. Patrick’s Day event with posters, t-shirts, and pins (which devoted patrons pride themselves on collecting). The first year of designing this event identity was with General Design Co., and the next two I have retained as a freelance designer.
